The first of many

This is my first blog posting and the first of many I hope!

You know the old theory about quilts and cats....well, while in Memphis, Tennessee recently, I encountered quilts and cats - one of each at the Pink Palace museum and Quiltsmiths in Cordova. Here is a broderie perse quilt from the Pink Palace Museum and the second pic is of Sparky (cat) with Rita of Quiltsmiths , he was very welcoming - full of Southern hospitality.
